Former Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin has entered the ILT20 auction with the highest base price of USD 12,000 (approx.. ₹10 lakh), becoming the most expensive player in the upcoming auction..
Since announcing his retirement from the IPL, Ashwin has been strongly linked with multiple overseas leagues, including the Big Bash League (BBL) and ILT20. His first appearance in an overseas league is expected to be in the UAE-based ILT20, which features six teams.
Ashwin Leads Indian Entries in ILT20 Auction
Ashwin is the only player in the auction pool to enter with a six-digit base price. If picked, he will become the first capped former Indian player to feature in the ILT20 league.

Alongside Ashwin, 24 other Indian players have registered for the auction. The final list is expected to be released by the ILT20 management soon.
Ashwin has assured franchises of his full availability for the complete ILT20 season. However, with ILT20 and BBL schedules clashing in December, it is understood that Ashwin could join the BBL in its latter stages, after ILT20 concludes on January 4.
