While the handshake saga is barely over, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has apparently stated that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is yet to officially lodge a complaint regarding India skipper Suryakumar Yadav's post-match comments after the game against Pakistan on September 14 in Dubai. Notably, India beat the Men in Green by seven wickets and refused a customary handshake with the Pakistani players.
However, Suryakumar, in the post-match presentation, decided to dedicate their victory to the Pahalgam victims' families and Army officials. According to reports, PCB is apparently miffed with India skipper's words and reportedly filed a complaint to the ICC. However, the latest report states that ICC has not received any such complaint, and the issue needs to be filed in seven days (till September 21), and its PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, needs to prove what part of Surya's speech was political as per ICC Code of Conduct breach.

Notably, PCB's two official emails to ICC regarding the handshake saga have been rejected by the ICC. The body told them it had played no part in the fiasco and told them to go to ACC, which is headed by Naqvi, to resolve the issue. While PCB made a sudden U-turn on boycotting the Asia Cup 2025 event by playing against the UAE, they created more drama by uploading a mute video of the incident on social media.
